Jeff and Anna’s interest in farming began in 2008 when they first interned on an organic farm. After several more years of interning on a variety of farms throughout the west coast, they decided to take the leap and start their own endeavor. In 2012, they moved to the Rogue Valley and started Wandering Roots Farm. The name was born out of their long period of wandering to finally settle their roots.
About Our Farm
Wandering Roots Farm is a 50-acre certified organic farm located in the heart of the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon. Started in 2012, what was once a giant hay field transformed into a diverse, sustainable fruit and vegetable farm. With eight acres of vegetables, one acre of mixed berries, two acres of mixed fruit and nut trees and surrounded by a beneficial pollinator hedgerow, the farm is a buzzy oasis full of delicious diversity.
Wandering Roots Farm sells their fresh, seasonal produce to various farmers markets, grocery stores and restaurants throughout the Rogue Valley.
In 2019, Wandering Roots Farm added hemp production into the mix and is now offering certified organic tinctures and salves along with all of the produce. The full spectrum, sun-grown hemp is grown with integrity and care and then handcrafted into organic CBD products.
Wandering Roots is an ever growing and changing landscape. We are always striving to grow the best produce and CBD hemp for our friends, family and greater community.
